Clippers owner Donald Sterling, who was banned from the NBA for life by league commissioner Adam Silver after recordings of him making racist comments were made public, had authorized his wife Shelly to negotiate a sale of the team, per the Associated Press. But as the Los Angeles Times notes, "the tentative deal still must receive [his] blessing."
