What if last night I passed away
by Achoti Ty Battle
What if last night I passed away
How would you remember me on today
Would you speak kindly of me as you pray
Would you think that im somewhere okay
What if last night I passed away
Would you want to replay yesterday
Would you skip the fight and pick to play
Would you regret words you chose to say
What if last night I passed away
Would you put your feelings on display
Would your sky be sunny or cloudy gray
Would you hope to see me another day
What if last night I passed away
Would you feel a certain kind of way
Would you want to join me as I lay
Would you wish that I could forever stay
What if last night I passed away
What do you suggest by this “pass away”
For surely young strong one, you are here to stay
None of HaWahs children will ever cease to play
Slipping from existence to immortality
Could never bring dismay
To taste of that beyond, oh happy art the day
Fully aligned with our Creator, oh my what a stay
So to answer your question my dear sister
you will never truly pass away
only switch up your vantage point
and rock with Oshea
dig out not your grave,
for you know not the hour
vibe with your family,
for we are strengthened by your PoWah.
Serenity and Guidance forever be unto you
Thawadah for the energy, Ahch. For passing away can be taking in different ways. Our younger selves have to pass away in order for the older self to exist. The older self has to pass away in order for the elder self to exist. It’s all about perspective. It is all part of a maturation process. In my opinion, of course.
